The "Canzoni da Battello" (Boating Songs), songs and airs from 18th Century Venice, composed for
the celebrations of the Serenissima (Venetian Republic) and for the theatre productions held in the
villas of the aristocracy. This work, presented at the Biennial Theatre
Festival in 1981, was included in numerous theatre and musical programmes
in Italy, Germany, France and the United States and filmed by many television
broadcasting stations including Tokyo Broadcasting Television in Japan,
CBS in America, Antenne 2 in France and the RAI in Italy.
